The Communications Working Group

The Communications working group facilitates the sharing of updates, knowledge, and stories both within the GMA (via internal newsletters and communications media/event kits) and externally (via social media engagement, external newsletters, media engagement, and the website) working to achieve annual goals set forward in a yearly Communications Plan. 

Through the use of these channels, the working group aims to elevate stories from member organizations and national chapters, and ensures the importance of our collective work – and the importance of the mangrove ecosystem – is broadcasted to appropriate channels. 

The working group lead liaises with both Yoke, our design partners, and with Creative Science, our web development partners, to help ensure design consistency and web functionality respectively.
