Emily Goodwin

As part of IUCN’s Global Ecosystem Management Programme, Emily supports the implementation of IUCN’s global portfolio of projects on adaptation and resilience, particularly in coastal and mangrove ecosystems. She also supports IUCN in the coordination of several global partnerships for climate resilience, ecosystem-based adaptation, and mangrove conservation and sustainable management, including the Global Mangrove Alliance, the UN Community of Ocean Action for Mangroves, and Friends of EbA (FEBA). Emily studied ecology and environmental science at Dartmouth College, where she conducted research in India, the Caribbean, Latin America, and South Africa. Prior to joining IUCN, she worked in sea level rise adaptation planning and coastal resources management for the local government in Miami, Florida.
