Laura Veverka

World Wildlife Fund

Laura supports the US Oceans team for World Wildlife Fund, assisting in planning, coordination, communication, and implementation of program priorities for mangrove and coral reef conservation. She acts as a liaison for WWF-Indonesia colleagues in information dissemination regarding mangroves and Sunda Banda Seascape progress. Prior to her current role, she worked on the WWF-US Development team for three years in Individual Giving as a Coordinator. Laura has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Susquehanna University and a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern University, where she had a focus in marine mammal conservation. She is also SCUBA certified.
